Jennifer Maia made the best of her opponent switch to the top contender in Joanne Calderwood. After a few minutes of tough striking with Calderwood, Maia was actually brought down to the mat, which is her comfort zone. In less than one round, Maia locked in an armbar to take away Calderwood's flyweight title shot. The former Invicta FC champion took a lot of the MMA world by surprise with her defeat of Calderwood. She will be in that same bout, though, when she eventually challenges the champion, Valentina Shevchenko, probably in early 2021.--Matt Bricker
