After a pretty close contest halfway through the third round at UFC 251, Martin Day was dropped with a devastating left hand by Davey Grant that ended his night. Day's striking numbers were trending pretty good, landing 90 strikes, with 86 of those being significant strikes. Day puts himself in a rough spot, losing his Dana White Contender Series bout and his two UFC matchups. Day had a bright spot in the first round when Grant rushed in and caught his opponent with a strike, sending Grant to the mat. In the third round, Day came out looking desperate for the win. This desperation is what cost him a solid knockout defeat.--Matt Bricker
