PJ Washington Sinks Four Triples Amid Team-High 16-Point Outing

Charlotte Hornets power forward/center PJ Washington appears to have regained his previous offensive form to open the second half, collecting a team-best 16 points during Saturday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets. After not having led the team in scoring since Dec. 31, Washington has reeled off back-to-back team-leading scoring efforts. In addition to sinking four threes, he added seven rebounds and dished out four assists across his game-high 37 minutes Saturday. Back healthy and firmly entrenched in the starting rotation, Washington could be on the precipice of gaining a continuous role with the Hornets down the final six-plus weeks of the year.
