Scott Piercy followed up an impressive performance at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, where he finished T6, with a top-20 at last week’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. This will be the 41-year-old American’s first trip to Riviera since the 2017 edition where he missed the cut on the number. In his last seven trips, Piercy has struggled. His best finish came in 2011 when he finished T45. He also has three missed cuts and a withdrawal in that span. Even though Piercy is in solid form, his lack of any success here makes him a risky GPP-only play this week.--Cody Harvey
