Evgeni Malkin Stays Hot In Tuesday's Victory
Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin continued his torrid play over the past few months on Tuesday, leading the way with two goals and an assist in his team's 7-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. In addition to the trio of points, Malkin finished the night with a plus-one rating, a game-high six shots on goal and one hit in 17:36 of ice time in the victory. Despite missing nearly a full month due to injury earlier in the season, the Russian superstar has stepped up and produced 44 points (13 goals, 31 assists), a plus-13 rating, 12 power-play points and 110 shots in 32 games in 2019-2020. He's fully bounced back from a rare off-year last season and should be valued as a top-15 fantasy asset moving forward. He'll lace up the skates next against the Bruins on Thursday.
