Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy recorded his eighth consecutive victory as his team narrowly defeated the visiting Philadelphia Flyers 1-0 on Saturday night. In addition to his win streak, the 25-year-old captured his second straight shutout in the contest, turning aside all 23 shots faced. After a curious slow start to the campaign, Vasilevskiy has returned to Vezina-form as of late - posting a 0.80 goals-against average and a .971 save percentage in five January starts. With his improved play, the Russian netminder now has a very respectable 2.58 GAA and a .915 SVP in 33 starts. It was only a matter of time until Vasilevskiy rounded back into top form and it's certainly not too late for him to try and get back into the Vezina conversation.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
