Alvin Kamara Struggles Overall, Scores For Third Straight Game

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara carried the ball seven times for 21 yards and a touchdown and caught eight of nine targets for 34 yards in a 26-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He struggled in this one, capping off a disappointing season for both he and the Saints, though he did score for the third straight game. Despite frustrating his fantasy owners for much of 2019, Kamara still finished with 797 rushing yards on 171 totes along with five touchdowns and 81 catches for 533 yards with one score. Injuries, ineffectiveness, and fumbles played a part in making his season less-than-stellar. With Drew Brees only getting older, the Saints may gradually ease into a more run-heavy approach in 2020. Kamara is a prime bounce-back candidate for next year and should still be among the first players taken in all drafts.
