J.J. Redick Drills Five Triples In 23-Point Outing
J.J. Redick continued to shoot the proverbial lights out during Sunday’s defeat to the Orlando Magic. The sharpshooter finished with 23 points, having knocked down 5-for-9 from behind the three-point line, his seventh time this season hitting at least five triples in a game. With New Orleans in the midst of a 12-game losing streak, Redick’s veteran presence could make him an attractive trade chip over the next few months. After a rocky start to his first year with the Pelicans, Redick is now on pace to set a new career high in made threes per game (3.3), which ranks him tied for seventh in the league.
