4 years agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert stuffed the stat sheet in a 127-116 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, tallying 20 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks. It's Gobert's 17th double-double of the year, as he worked the offensive glass for seven boards. He also showed why he's the two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year, stifling Karl-Anthony Towns into 6-15 shooting. After a slow start offensively, the sixth-year veteran has caught fire in December, averaging 18 PPG on absolutely absurd 77.6 percent shooting from the field. Gobert should be able to stay hot offensively on Friday against the Golden State Warriors, who have allowed the fourth-highest field goal percentage in the league.--Tim Capurso
