Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Joonas Finland has been working out in his native Finland, looking to step out of the shadows of the departed Sergei Bobrovsky (Panthers). He is expected to be the primary starting netminder in Columbus, battling Elvis Merzlikins for the job. "There's no true No. 1 available, so why wouldn't we see what these guys can do from there?", general manager Jarmo Kekalainen said. It will be a training camp battle to watch in the coming months, but whomever starts should only be counted upon as a No. 3 fantasy backstop in most leagues.--Daniel Dobish
