After exiting Sunday's game with a hamstring injury, New York Mets infielder Robinson Cano was placed on the injured list Monday afternoon. The 36-year-old has been much better lately, hitting .307 over the last 30 games. He had recorded three hits on the day prior to the injury. In correlation to the move, the Mets have promoted infielder Luis Guillorme to the roster. Additionally, Walter Lockett has been named as the additional 26th man for Monday's doubleheader against the Miami Marlins.--RDelgado
