Julio Teheran Tosses Quality Start In Wednesday's Loss

Atlanta Braves starter Julio Teheran allowed two runs - none earned - on four hits across six innings of work during Wednesday's 2-0 loss to the Kansas City Royals. He struck out six batters while walking two. Freddie Freeman's two-out error in the second inning led to all of the Royals' offense. Teheran is now winless over his past seven starts. The 28-year-old owns a 5-7 record to go along with a 3.42 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 108/54 K/BB rate. Teheran has only allowed three earned runs across 23 2/3 innings in July. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next projected start against the Washington Nationals.
