With J.A. Happ taking care of business on the mound, the New York Yankees offense pushed out six runs as they won their first game after dropping three straight, 6-2. The biggest hit of the night came off the bat of outfielder Aaron Hicks, who delivered his third home run of the season in the second inning. The blast, a three-run home run, capped off a four-run frame which put the Yankees ahead for good. Hicks, 29, has struggled to find his rhythm at the plate after missing the first month and a half of the season. Presently, he's batting just .238 with the aforementioned three home runs and 14 RBI.
