Elvis Andrus Leaves Game Tuesday Night

Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus left the game early on Tuesday after he was hit by a pitch in the lower leg in the fifth inning. It's unclear if this is actually injury-related or if the Rangers were just getting Andrus some extra rest in a blowout. His fantasy owners hope it was the latter, as Andrus just recently returned from a stint on the injured list with a hamstring injury. He went hitless with a run scored in four plate appearances on Tuesday and is hitting a nice .314/.366/.488 with six home runs, 27 runs, 26 RBI and nine steals on the season. He's been one of the more valuable fantasy shortstops so far in 2019.
