Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews notched a power-play goal and an assist on the man advantage in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals victory on Monday night against the Boston Bruins. Fans of the Leafs have been wringing their hands about Matthews and his lack of production in the postseason against the B's. He entered scoreless in the first two games of the series with a minus-one, and he had just one goal and one assist with a minus-four in last season's seven-game series loss. Perhaps this game will give Matthews the confidence he and the Leafs need going forward. Game 4 is set for Wednesday night back in Hogtown.--Daniel Dobish
