New Jersey Devils forward Kyle Palmieri, the team's leading scorer with 26 goals, missed Wednesday's 2-1 home loss against the Calgary Flames due to a lower-body injury. He is considered day to day. The team activated defenseman Sami Vatanen (concussion) from the injured reserve list after missing the past 14 games, too. He was scoreless with three blocked shots and a hit. As far as Palmieri is concerned, his status is uncertain and he should be reserved in all fantasy pools until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.--Daniel Dobish
