Eric Gordon Scores 15 Points Off The Bench
Houston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon had another good scoring night for his team in their win over the Chicago Bulls. He scored 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting to go along with three rebounds, three three-pointers, and one assist. While the scoring numbers were decent, Gordon continues to show just how one-dimensional he is as a fantasy asset. Even when his shot is falling, he hardly contributes outside of points and three-pointers. While his historically bad shooting has finally risen to acceptable levels, his lack of residual stats makes him a modest contributor at best. But for owners in need of points and three-pointers, you could do worse than Gordon. Gordon looks to be a solid DFS play on Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they give up the fifth most three-pointers in the NBA this season. So Gordon could have a strong night from beyond the arc.
