The Los Angeles Angels interviewed former shortstop Omar Vizquel for their vacant managerial position, but he reported that he is no longer a candidate. Vizquel spent 24 seasons in the MLB, and served as an instructional coach for the Detroit Tigers and a minor league coach for the Chicago White Sox after retiring. He has also been involved in the Venezuelan WBC team as well. The Angels will continue their search to replace longtime manager Mike Scioscia, who was let go after 19 seasons at the helm for the Halos.--pattonRead More News
