Adeiny Hechavarria Smacks First Home Run With Yankees
Seeing regular action since arriving with the New York Yankees at the beginning of this month, shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria entered Tuesday night's game as a defensive substitution. He would eventually get a plate appearance in the ninth inning and subsequently drilled a solo home run, just his fifth of the season and first in nearly a month. While Hechavarria is with the club primarily for his defensive skills, he could become even more valuable if he can occasionally pick up a hit or RBI.
