After missing the cut at the Northern Trust, Jason Dufner will have his work cut out if he wants to keep advancing. The American has made it to the Tour Championship the previous two seasons, but that streak appears like it could be coming to an end. Dufner, who was already in bad shape in the yearly FedExCup standings entering the Northern Trust, managed to hold on and sneak into this week's Dell Technologies Championship in 100th place. With only the top 100 players making TPC Boston, Dufner can consider himself lucky to still be alive in the playoffs. If the five-time PGA Tour winner doesn't want his season to come to an end this weekend, he will need to gain at least 30 spots and get himself into the top 70. As unlikely as it seems, Dufner has made all five cuts here since 2013 and has provided two top-20 showings in the process. Crazier things have happened before, but Dufner will need a little luck if he wants to advance. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
