Baker Mayfield Solid In Preseason Game Friday

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield played well in his second preseason game on Friday. Facing the Buffalo Bills, Mayfield completed 7-of-13 passes for 75 yards while adding four rushes for nine yards. The rookie signal-caller did not throw a touchdown or an interception in the game, although he did have two potential touchdown passes overturned. Mayfield's first would-be touchdown was negated by an offensive pass interference call while his second was overturned by the officiating crew. Despite the poor luck in the touchdown department, Mayfield showed excellent footwork, pocket presence, and accuracy against Buffalo on Friday night. With the starters expected to see more run in the third preseason game, Mayfield might not play as much as he has the past two games.
