Toronto Blue Jays reliever Danny Barnes (knee) was activated off of the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday after dealing with tendinitis in his left knee. Barnes has been ineffective this season, as evidenced by his 4.60 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through 29 1/3 innings. Regardless, he will now be thrust into a more important role as the Jays have traded away a plethora of bullpen arms in the past week.
