New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is expected to return to the team's lineup on Friday. He's been on the disabled list with a hip injury since May. The Mets play the Yankees in their first series of the second half, meaning Cespedes will likely be used as a DH for a few games. Prior to the injury, he was hitting .255 with eight home runs and 28 RBI over 37 games. It's taken a while for him to return, but Cespedes could be safely used in lineups on Friday and going forward.--Dan Fappiano
