Zack Wheeler Picks Up Another Quality Start In Loss
New York Mets starting pitcher Zack Wheeler has had quite the resurgence in 2018, and that arrow continued to point upwards on Tuesday in Toronto. In an 8-6 loss, Wheeler picked up another quality start by allowing only two earned runs on three hits and three walks across 6 1/3 innings pitched. He punched out five on the evening. The quality start makes it two straight for Wheeler and the fifth in his last seven outings. For a guy who previously had a ton of issues pitching deep into games, Wheeler has certainly improved to a massive degree in that department this season.
