Four-Hit, Six-RBI Day For Curtis Granderson
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson needed to get his bat going if he was going to stop losing playing time to Randal Grichuk, who returned on June 1 from injury. Well, Granderson heard the message loud and clear and seems to be picking it up. In a 13-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday, Granderson was an absolute monster. He finished 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored, six RBI, and a walk. What a mouthful. After a prolonged slump for the Grandyman, he’s now homered in two of his last three games. As we’ve seen throughout Granderson’s career, he’s simply a very streaky player. When he’s hot, there are few better. When he’s cold, there are few worse. Given the playing time situation he makes for a risky add in most leagues, but if he’s in the lineup he certainly brings a lot to the table in DFS formats.
