Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to be Placed on 7-Day DL

Toronto Blue Jays top prospect, third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., is heading to the seven-day disabled list after injuring his leg sliding into second base in the fourth inning of Wednesday's game for Double–A New Hampshire. It's a shame for the son of recently inducted Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero, as Vlad Jr. was hitting an otherworldly .407 with 11 homers, 55 RBI and a .667 slugging percentage in 53 games. There has been plenty of clamoring to get Guerrero called up, but this injury will ensure it'll be at least another month or so before that's the case. He should still be stashed in all leagues.
