With shortstop Jose Iglesias (hip) hobbled up and listed as day-to-day, the Detroit Tigers have called up infielder Ronny Rodriguez. Rodriguez is off to a hot start at Triple-A Toledo, slashing .318/.341/.540 on the year. Most recently, he went 5-for-5 on Wednesday, hitting for the cycle with a pair of home runs. He'll figure into a middle-infield mix with Dixon Machado and Pete Kozma as Iglesias recovers. In a subsequent move, catcher Grayson Greiner was optioned to Triple-A in order to make room for Rodriguez.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
