According to the team, Washington Nationals catcher Matt Wieters underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair his injured hamstring. As of now, Wieters will be out indefinitely while his hamstring heals. Fantasy owners in redraft leagues should feel free to dump Wieters now and seek out a replacement catcher. For the moment, the Nationals will rely on Pedro Severino and Spencer Kieboom to split catching duties. Neither are great fantasy investments, but Severino has more upside. Look for the Nationals to seriously pursue a replacement option. Marlins backstop J.T. Realmuto's name is already floating around as a potential trade target.--Phil Goyette
