Clayton Kershaw Throws From 60 Feet

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw (biceps) played catch and threw up to 60 feet on Tuesday. He'll next be stretched out to 90 feet, though manager Dave Roberts said that Kershaw won't be throwing off a mound during the team's road trip to Miami. Kershaw is dealing with biceps tendinitis, a more concerning injury than his back problems from seasons past. He hasn't been himself this year, as evidenced by the six walks he gave up in one game. But hopefully the time off will recharge his batteries and bring back the pitcher that regularly dominated lineups.
