Los Angeles Angels reliever Justin Anderson was called upon on Monday in LA's first save opportunity since closer Keynan Middleton (elbow) went on the disabled list. Middleton is having a second opinion on his elbow but with a UCL injury, there is a chance he could be out for the rest of the year if he needs Tommy John surgery. Manager Mike Scioscia refuses to name a full-time closer, but it is telling that Anderson is getting the first opportunity. Anderson has a 99 mph fastball and could be a cheap source of saves in deeper leagues. Cam Bedrosian, Jim Johnson and Blake Parker all have a chance to grab saves as well.--patton
