On Sunday, Kiradech Aphibarnrat stepped up to the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass with a great round of eight-under par in progress, but the Thai golfer hit two balls in the water and a quadruple-bogey undid so much of his excellent work. It was a familiar tale of his week, as he managed to finish in a very respectable tie for 30th place despite playing the 17th hole at six-over par for the week. Aphibarnrat will now be able to receive unlimited invitations this year on the PGA Tour, as his made cut at the Players secured his temporary membership status.--Gianni
