Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) completed his first rehab game with the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox on Monday, finishing 1-for-3 with a single and a run scored. Now seven months removed from left knee surgery, Pedroia said he "felt good up there." The Boston second baseman is coming off a career-low 99 OPS-plus season in 2017. The 34-year-old will need to show significant evidence of turning things around at this stage in his career before being a viable mixed league option.--Brendan Bilodeau
