The Philadelphia Phillies switched things up on Sunday, calling on reliever Edubray Ramos to close out a game against the New York Mets. Leading 4-2, manager Gabe Kapler called on the Venezuelan instead of closer Hector Neris following a blown save on Friday night. Ramos, 25, has been terrific early on in this season, carrying a 1.20 ERA into Sunday’s game. It took 20 pitches, but he closed out the game, despite walking a batter to bring the tying run to the plate. He lowered his ERA to 1.13 on the year, while raising significant questions about the future of the Phillies bullpen and their closer situation.--RDelgado
