Oakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis hit his team-leading 11th homer of the season, a solo shot off Sonny Gray in the second inning. His average (.215) is leaving a lot to be desired but he continues to provide the power that is expected. Davis is a model of consistency; he has hit at least 42 homers the last two seasons and has a .247 AVG each of the past three years. This is the type of expectation you should have from Davis. The homer was his only hit of the night but shows that even when he is not hitting well, Davis can still be productive.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
