Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is leading off in Tuesday's contest versus the Pirates. Normal leadoff man and shortstop Trea Turner will bat second, while Matt Adams slots in batting third and playing left field. As if batting Harper first isn't weird enough, manager Dave Martinez is going all out and batting starting pitcher Max Scherzer eighth and Wilmer Difo ninth. The moves are likely Martinez's attempt to wake up the team, which is off to a terrible start. Anthony Rendon is returning soon, though, followed by Adam Eaton and Daniel Murphy. Once everyone is back and healthy, expect the lineup to remain steady with speedsters Eaton and Turner at the top. The leadoff spot should boost Harper's run total for the time being, but don't fall in love with this configuration. It won't last.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
