Cincinnati Reds left-hander Brandon Finnegan turned in a decent outing against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. He allowed three runs over five innings, striking out two and walking three. All of the damage off of Finnegan came via the long ball, as he allowed a solo shot to catcher Manny Pina and a two-run blast to outfielder Lorenzo Cain. Finnegan missed the first few weeks of the season with a biceps strain and hasn't been great since returning, posting an 0-2 record, 7.27 ERA and an ugly 12:12 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 17 1/3 innings of work. He is a better pitcher than he has shown in 2018, but he needs to stay on waivers until he starts showing results.--Matt T - RotoBaller
