Clint Frazier Joining Triple-A RailRiders

After wrapping up a stint with the Single-A Tampa Yankees over the weekend, New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier (concussion) is moving closer to the Bronx. On Tuesday, the 23-year-old will report to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. At that point, the next logical step would be a return to the major league club. Frazier has been out since the spring with a concussion and subsequent symptoms. Prior to his injury, he was forecasted to spend the season in the minors, as Jacoby Ellsbury seemed ahead of him on the depth chart. The latter is out with an injury, however, and appears some time away from returning. As a result, look for Frazier to see time with the major league club, although he'll likely come off the bench with the Yankees so deep at the position.
