Lourdes Gurriel Jr. To Make First Career Start At Shortstop

Toronto Blue Jays infielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is set to start at short for the first time in his young MLB career after starting his first two games at second. Aledmys Diaz will take a seat Sunday against the Yankees and Devon Travis will man the keystone after a brief two-day absence. Gurriel Jr. has impressed in his first two games, going 3-for-8 with 3 RBI. Last season in the minors, Gurriel Jr. split his time between short and second, so gaining shortstop eligibility would him a must-add in deeper leagues and an intriguing prospect in mixed-leagues.
