Brent Suter Hit With Loss In Five-Inning Effort

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brent Suter went five innings, giving up six hits, three earned runs and four strikeouts in the 10-4 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Suter had a rough second inning where he gave up all three of his runs, but outside of that, it was smooth sailing for him through the other four innings. He displayed solid control, as he didn't allow a single walk and managed to maintain an impressive 69 pitch count through five innings of work. However, Brewers manager Craig Counsell decided to pull him out in favor of Oliver Drake. Suter will remain a desperation streaming option against favorable opponents and now ups his ERA to 4.87.
