Jose Lobaton And Thomas Nido To Continue To Share Catching Duties
Travis d'Arnaud and Kevin Plawecki went down with injuries, multiple reports stated that the Mets were looking to both the free agent and trade market for a replacement. However, according to the Athletics's Ken Rosenthal, with Plawecki expected back in three-to-four weeks, New York plans on sticking with Jose Lobaton and Thomas Nido behind the plate. Lobaton will likely see more starts than Nido, however, with just a .218 career batting average, he is not worth an add in most fantasy leagues.
