Connor Hellebuyck had a relatively quiet night on Friday as the Jets overpowered the Minnesota wild to earn a well-deserved game two victory. It was quite a contrasting performance as Minnesota’s Devan Dubnyk was attacked relentlessly throughout the game whereas Hellebuyck was left relatively unscathed. Hellebuyck had a shutout bid going until the last minute of regulation when Zach Parise managed to grab a late consolation goal for the visiting Wild. The Winnipeg goaltender finished with 16 saves on 17 shots whilst registering a .941 save percentage. The Winnipeg Jets take their two-game lead in the series into Minnesota for game 3 on Sunday.--Amir Salehnia
