Paul Casey, currently the 17th-ranked player in the official World Golf rankings, had a strong finish this past weekend, as he rallied with a final-round score of 65 to get the big win at the Valspar Championship. This is Casey’s first professional win since 2014 and his first PGA Tour win since 2009. He was destined to break through, as he’s had too many good rounds of golf lately. He’s had 11 top-10s in the past year prior, with three of those this year. Look for him in weeks ahead at the top of the leaderboards, as he is currently playing some of the best golf of his career.--Drake Peaugh
