Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard stopped 23 of 25 shots he faced in a 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night, snapping his bid for three straight wins. Despite putting 36 shots on goal, the Detroit offense (2.57 goals for per game) looked every bit the 27th-ranked offense that they are. With another road game in Winnipeg this weekend, things are not looking any brighter for Howard. Winnipeg is third in the league in goals per game (3.35) and seventh in the league in goals against (2.67), so it is likely Howard will be under fire and without sufficient goal support yet again. Play him at your own risk. There are better options available for Friday.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
