Heliot Ramos 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: New Teammates Threaten Playing Time
San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos finished 2025 with a line of .256-21-69-85-6 and a wRC+ of 106. Ramos' productivity was concentrated in the first half of the season and buoyed largely by a May in which he recorded a 1.007 OPS. In June, Ramos began a steady decline into replacement-level territory, and recent roster moves are putting his playing time at risk. Top prospect Bryce Eldridge is reportedly working out in the outfield as a means of finding more ways to get him into more games. In January, the Giants signed Harrison Bader to help shore up the team's outfield defense. Ramos' -9 outs above average was among the worst in the majors last year. San Francisco also has prospects Drew Gilbert and Grant McCray, as well as recent signee Will Brennan, waiting for an opportunity to break into the lineup. Unless Ramos can offer more consistent results at the plate, he may find himself splitting time with one or more of his teammates. Ramos is 210 overall in RotoBaller's current rankings, just ahead of his NFBC ADP of 212. At 26, Ramos still has room for growth, but fantasy managers shouldn't feel compelled to reach for him given the potential playing time concerns.
