Michael Harris II 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Rollercoaster 2025 Season has Discounted the 20/20 Threat
Atlanta Braves outfielder Michael Harris II got off to an excruciatingly slow start last season, but thanks to a midseason swing adjustment, the former NL Rookie of the Year slashed .307/.323/.547 with a .369 wOBA and 138 wRC+ from the beginning of July to the end of August (53 games) before finally cooling off in September. In all, it resulted in a .249-20-86-55-20 line with a .289 wOBA and 83 wRC+; productive, but not nearly what fantasy managers were hoping for when they drafted him at 49 overall last year. Nevertheless, it was a career-high home run total, and it was the third season in four that the left-handed slugger swiped 20 bases. However, sitting in the bottom-10 of all qualified players over the last four seasons in chase rate and walk rate doesn't bode well for his chances of significantly improving his OBP, thus limiting both his run-scoring and stolen base upside potential. Still, at just 24 years old, the Georgia native should have room to grow and appears to be more fairly valued in drafts, with an NFBC ADP around 96 overall, right around his RotoBaller rank of 92 overall.
