Rams Defense Gets Opportunity to Bounce Back Against Struggling Cardinals
The Los Angeles Rams D/ST was incredibly underwhelming in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers, surrendering 25 points with just two sacks and zero turnovers. It was an uncharacteristic performance from the Rams' defense, which had ranked as the #2 D/ST unit in fantasy scoring prior to Week 13. They'll have an appealing opportunity to bounce back in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals, who continue to operate without key players such as Kyler Murray (foot), James Conner (foot), and Trey Benson (knee). To make matters worse, the Cardinals will be without wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) and Greg Dortch (chest). Jacoby Brissett and Michael Wilson have looked solid in place of Murray and Harrison, respectively. However, the absence of so many key playmakers puts Arizona at an even greater disadvantage against a very strong Rams defense. Los Angeles should capitalize on this fantastic opportunity to bounce back from last week's ugly loss. The Rams D/ST ranks #6 in this week's RotoBaller fantasy rankings.
