Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups - Fantasy Football Free Agent Adds and Stashes (2025)

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Running Back Sleepers, RB Handcuffs

Rob's Week 14 fantasy football waiver wire pickups, adds, stashes, and sleepers to target for 2025. His top waiver wire adds for Week 14 at RB, WR, TE, QB, K, D/ST.

Week 14 is the final week of the fantasy football regular season. Plenty of playoff spots are still up for grabs. If you're one of those teams still alive for a playoff spot but who have yet to secure one, you are playing for your life, so your waiver moves should reflect that. If there's a player who can improve your Week 14 lineup, you need to make it, even if it means dropping a high-standing handcuff or lottery ticket.

If you've already secured a playoff spot, start planning for the future. Look at your Week 15 lineup (if you don't have the bye) and, if you do, start looking at your Week 16 lineup. Identify good matchups if you're streaming defenses or tight ends. Add those players now.

Be sure to also check out our free Who Should I Pickup? tool and compare up to four free-agent players at once -- we'll tell you who to pick up. Please use the promo code "BOOM" to get 10% off our premium subscription tools. Now, let's get to the best waiver wire adds for Week 14. If you've been reading this article all year, I just want to say thank you as we approach the end of the season.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. Running Back Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14

Must Adds

Trey Benson, Arizona Cardinals - 57.6% Rostered

The Cardinals opened up Benson's 21-day practice window, and he was limited throughout practice last week. That's a good sign that Benson's return is on the horizon. With James Conner (knee) on season-ending IR, once Benson does return, he could return to a workhorse role.

Given the severity of Conner's injury and the fact that Benson is likely viewed as the future of the Arizona backfield, it would make some sense to throw the kitchen sink at Benson and see what he can handle. If he ends up getting 15+ touches a game, Benson should be viewed as a top-2o running back for the rest of the year.

Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears - 56.0% Rostered

This backfield has operated like a 1A and 1B backfield for the past few weeks now. Since Week 7, Monangai has games of 16.4, 2.4, 21.3, 8.8, 10.2, 10.8, and 19.0 half-PPR points. Over their last seven games, Monangai is averaging 12.7 half-PPR PPG. That's more than Saquon Barkley is currently averaging for the season.

Over this span, Monangai is averaging 12.7 carries per game and has become Chicago's preferred option near the goal line. This is evidenced by his scoring five touchdowns over the last seven games, including four consecutive weeks. He's a strong FLEX play with league-winning potential if D'Andre Swift were to miss time.

Chris Rodriguez Jr., Washington Commanders - 12.4% Rostered

Rodriguez has now gotten double-digit carries in three of his last four games. He has operated as the primary and starting running back for Washington over the past two games. He has found the end zone in three out of his last four, doing so again last night.

Rodriguez should be viewed as a weekly RB3 with RB2 upside when he finds the end zone. He's been Washington's most effective runner this year, which has led to a larger role over the past few weeks.

Bam Knight, Arizona Cardinals - 36.8% Rostered

While it's expected that Benson will return this week, it's still unclear whether that will happen. Over the last three weeks, Knight has scored 12.5, 11.2, and 15.3 half-PPR points. Knight has operated as the lead-back for Arizona. Given Benson's long absence, fantasy managers could get another week where Knight is involved in the offense if they want Benson to get his feet underneath him before making him the undisputed lead back.

There's also the possibility that they don't want to overwhelm Benson, given his long absence. In that scenario, Knight could still maintain FLEX consideration. He's a strong add despite Benson's pending return.

Devin Neal, New Orleans Saints - 42.0% Rostered

Alvin Kamara missed Week 13 with an MCL sprain, and there's no guarantee he'll be able to return in Week 14. With the Saints' season all but over, they could choose to be cautious with Kamara. Even once he returns, Neal should get an extended look in the backfield. He finished with 14 carries and managed to catch all three of his targets.

That kind of volume will keep Neal firmly entrenched in the FLEX conversation for as long as Kamara is out. While Neal was not very efficient with his touches, finishing with 69 yards this past weekend, fantasy football is a game of volume. For as long as Kamara is out, Neal is a good bet to see 15 touches.

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14

Must Add

Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers - 51.9% Rostered

Watson has now scored over 16.0 half-PPR points in two out of his last three games. Since returning in Week 8 from a torn ACL late last season, Watson is averaging 10.9 half-PPR PPG. He's been Green Bay's most effective pass-catcher since he returned, and he's only gotten better with each passing week. Watson is a WR3, but his value is climbing, and he has league-winning potential here down the stretch.

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 53.7% Rostered

Over his past six games, Pierce has scored more than 12.0 half-PPR points in four of them. He's been incredibly consistent, scoring more than 8.0 half-PPR points in seven out of his ten games. Pierce has become the Colts' No. 1 receiver recently and should be viewed as a weekly WR3 with WR2 upside.

Chris Godwin Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 59.1% Rostered

Godwin returned in Week 12 and saw his role increase this past weekend. He had four targets in Week 12, but that increased to five this past weekend. More importantly, Godwin was immensely more effective! After finishing with just nine yards in Week 12, that increased to 78 this past weekend. Emeka Egbuka has come crashing back to Earth ever since Week 7.

That gives Godwin the potential to become Barker Mayfield's No. 1 target-earner, or, at the very least, 1B to Egbuka's 1A. Godwin should be viewed as a solid WR3 with weekly upside and is a must-add if he was dropped.

Priority Adds

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 54.9% Rostered

Evans is currently on IR, but is eligible to return in Week 14. Given how much Egbuka has struggled recently, Evans could return and reprise his role as Mayfield's favorite pass-catcher. Evans has legit WR1 upside if he's healthy. While his return date is still unknown, the upside is significant and well worth the stash, especially with his return potentially right around the corner.

Jayden Higgins, Houston Texans - 36.3% Rostered

Since Week 8, Higgins has scored in double-digits in three out of his last six games. In five of those six games, Higgins has scored 7.5 half-PPR points or more. His role continues to grow, and his efficiency has improved. This past weekend, he had 65 yards, which was a season-high for Higgins. He should be valued as a WR4 with WR3 weekly upside.

Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers - 39.7% Rostered

Reed's 21-day practice window was opened before Week 12. Most thought that meant he'd be active in Week 13, but that wasn't the case. Now, however, it seems like a guarantee that he'll be back in Week 14. Green Bay desperately needs more pass-catchers, and Reed could help replace some of the yard-after-the-catch ability that they lost when Tucker Kraft (knee) got hurt.

Reed should be viewed as a potential WR4 with weekly WR2 upside.

Adonai Mitchell, New York Jets - 2.7% Rostered

Since becoming a Jet, Mitchell has had games of six, seven, and 12 targets. He's increased his target total with each passing week. He's also increased his fantasy production, receptions, and receiving yardage each week. Mitchell is a former second-round receiver with elite athleticism and a depleted group of pass-catchers. There's plenty of potential here as long as Tyrod Taylor stays under center.

Tight End Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 14

Must Add

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars - 22.0% Rostered

Since returning from IR, Strange has scored 11.8 and 12.0 half-PPR points. From Weeks 1-5, he was Trevor Lawrence's favorite target. He's since picked up in a very similar spot despite the addition of Jakobi Meyers. Strange has performed like a high-end TE2 with top-12 weekly upside. In his two games since returning from injury, Strange has averaged 11.9 half-PPR points per game.

Darren Waller, Miami Dolphins - 19.9% Rostered

Waller scored 16.2, 16.3, and 8.2 half-PPR points in his first three games this season before landing on IR. Week 13 was his first game back after the long absence, and he made his presence felt with two receptions for 47 yards. With Tyreek Hill (knee) on IR, Waller should eventually settle back into his No. 2 role behind Jaylen Waddle.

Waller has one of the best playoff schedules among tight ends, including games against the Steelers and Bengals, who are both top-5 in most points allowed to tight ends this season. Waller is a must-add and could very well become a set-it-and-forget-it tight end once he gets his feet back underneath him.

Waiver Wire Parameters for This Article

A few rules and notes about this weekly waiver wire article. Every league is different, with varying roster formats and sizes. That makes this one of the more challenging articles because every league’s waiver wire can look dramatically different. Even the host site you use matters. ESPN has rankings that differ from Yahoo! 's, which in turn differ from CBS's or Sleeper's, and all of this affects which players are drafted and which are not.

We only identify quarterbacks and tight ends with a roster percentage of 60% or less. For running backs and receivers, that number drops to 50%. We don’t delve too deeply into defenses, but I highlight a few streamers to target each week.

Positions are also categorized into different groups, such as RB3 or a potential league-winner to stash. You’ll need to know your roster and what to look for on the waiver. From there, each positional group is arranged based on who you should prioritize first at that position. We use ESPN’s roster percentages for this article.

For example, if you are looking for immediate value, you might be more interested in someone like Benson than Corum right now because Benson is more likely to score points in the short term. Know your team and your team’s needs. If you’re healthy and your starting roster is strong, shoot for upside.
