Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. Kelce was the lone bright spot among the Chiefs pass catchers in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos. The veteran tight end hauled in nine catches for 91 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in Week 11. Last week's totals set new season-highs in receptions and targets for Kelce, making it easily his best performance of the year.
With fellow pass catcher Xavier Worthy officially questionable for Sunday's matchup, Kelce could have another ceiling performance against the Colts. The Indianapolis defense is one of the best matchups for tight ends, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Kelce is ranked TE4 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a top-end option at the position this week.Kelce has had a resurgent 2025 season, and that should continue against the Colts.
Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens
Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (calf) returned to practice on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday due to a calf issue, per Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun. He was also then cleared from Friday's final injury report, suggesting he will be a full-go for Sunday's contest against the Jets. Across seven games this season, the 25-year-old has hauled in 12 catches for 118 yards on 16 targets.
Baltimore's crowded tight end room limits Likely's upside, as all three of Likely, Mark Andrews, and Charlie Kolar played at least 19 offensive snaps in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns. As long as all three of the Ravens' tight ends are active, Andrews is the only one who warrants low-end fantasy starter consideration.
Luke Musgrave, TE, Packers
Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave's opportunity has declined substantially, and he should be considered a weak play when the Packers host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12. Musgrave ran routes on 81 percent of dropbacks in Week 10 against the Eagles. Even his role as a sporadic contributor to the Packers' offense is in peril, as John FitzPatrick earned more snaps and ran four more pass routes than Musgrave did last week against the Giants.
With just eight targets and seven receptions for 56 yards in his three combined games after Tucker Kraft's season-ending injury, it seems the replacement for Kraft's workload won't come from the tight end position for the Packers. Musgrave is not worth rostering in fantasy leagues, much less starting in your lineups in Week 12.
Brock Wright, TE, Lions
With top Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (back) currently on Injured Reserve due to a back injury, veteran Brock Wright has been elevated to TE1 status in Detroit. In his first game without LaPorta in Week 11, Wright was targeted seven times but hauled in just two catches for eight yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. On paper, Wright has an easier matchup in Week 12 against the New York Giants.
So far this season, New York has allowed the sixth-most passing yards (2,641) and seventh-most passing touchdowns (19) in the NFL. However, Wright's lack of proven track record as a receiving threat makes him tough to trust for fantasy managers. Across 68 career games with Detroit, the 26-year-old has recorded 67 receptions. He profiles as a low-end fantasy TE2 in Week 12 against the Giants.
