Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:

Elic Ayomanor, WR, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Elic Ayomanor suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's Week 11 loss against the Houston Texans, according to Terry McCormick of Titan Insider. Ayomanor played through the injury, as he was on the field for 84.7 percent of the snaps and never exited with any sort of injury designation.

The rookie finished the game with six targets, two catches, and 11 receiving yards. Although he struggled to deliver meaningful production, he did see a decent target share after Calvin Ridley (leg) and Chimere Dike (chest, concussion) were both ruled out. Ridley is done for the season, and Dike is at risk of missing next week's game in concussion protocol.

As a result, Ayomanor has a chance to lead the Titans' receiving corps against the Seahawks in Week 12, assuming he's healthy enough to suit up. Van Jefferson should also earn increased opportunities going forward.

Luther Burden III, WR, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III has been wildly inconsistent in his first year in the league in an offense with weapons galore for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. The 21-year-old second-round selection out of Missouri only has three games with over 50 receiving yards, has scored just one time (back on Sept. 21), and has three games with negative yardage.

Burden has been extremely hard to trust as a flex option in fantasy leagues as a result, but he might be worth stashing on your bench as we approach the final stretch of the 2025 season. In the last two games, Burden has played over 40% of the offensive snaps for the first time all year, leading to six receptions on eight targets for 78 yards.

In the Week 11 win over the Vikings, he caught three passes for only 27 yards, but his five targets were a season high and tied for second on the team. At only 8% rostered in Yahoo leagues, fantasy managers may want to take a peek at the talented young wideout with upside in an improving offense.

Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers with an injury, as the Jaguars went on to dominate the Chargers 35-6. A large part of their dominance was mainly due to the offensive line, Travis Etienne, Tuten, and the Jaguars' defense.

At the time of his departure, he was having a career day, rushing for a career high 74 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 15 carries. Backfield mate, ETN, also rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. According to Jamal St. Cyr, Storts Anchor for News4JAX, when asked about his ankle, Tuten said, "It's good," which is a good sign for his availability heading into Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Tuten was involved fairly early in this contest, and his 15 carries were not due to the game being out of hand.

He was clearly splitting touches with ETN early in the game, and it's something to monitor moving forward. Regardless, Tuten becomes a must-add in all formats based on his volume on Sunday, and immediately enters the RB3 conversation, especially if we can expect 8-12 carries from him.
