Dan Campbell to Call Offensive Plays for Rest of Lions Season
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell told Jay Glazer of FOX Sports that he will handle offensive play-calling for the remainder of the season. Campbell started calling offensive plays during last week's win over the Washington Commanders, and he won't relinquish that responsibility. The head coach took over the duty from offensive coordinator John Morton before Week 10. Although we've only seen Campbell call offensive plays for one game, it appeared to be highly successful, as Detroit dropped 44 points on the Commanders. Jared Goff had 320 passing yards and three touchdowns in the victory, Jahmyr Gibbs had 172 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns, and Jameson Williams had 119 yards and one touchdown.
